Aston Villa is studying a new play for Joao Felix, with Chelsea eager to form ways with the AC Milan carrier after a single season, according to reports.
Not surprisingly, Felix’s second stage in Stamford Bridge has not worked. The Portuguese striker was presented for 52 million euros from Atlético Madrid last summer, mainly as part of a financial maneuver to facilitate the departure of Conor Gallagher.
The young man, 25, has struggled to keep up with expectations since the departure of BenficaAnd its January loan change to AC Milan has not changed it. Apart from a promising Coppa Italia debut, Felix has failed to impress Italy, which he asked Milan to rule out a permanent agreement.
Now, Chelsea is eager to move Felix once again, and Villa could intervene to offer a new beginning. Uni Emery has been an admirer of the striker and tried to sign him in previous transfer windows. This summer, he could finally have his chance.
Villa has already done business with Chelsea on recent windows, bringing Ian Maatsen and Axel Disasi. He was also interested in Gallagher last summer. Now, according to journalist Ben Jacobs, Emery is still interesting to Felix and pushed him to bring him to Birmingham.
Aston Villa and Unai Emery could offer a lifetime for Joao Felix and Chelsea

Ideally, Chelsea would prefer to sell Felix directly, but it may be open to another loan if there are no permanent offers. Villa is interested, but finances will play an important role in their decision. Felix’s wages are a sticky point and the club also has to weigh their options with the current Loanees Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio, both impressive.
PSG is ready to sell Asensio for about € 15 million, while Rashford’s purchase option is set at 48 million euros.
