Leon ‘Neon’ Spinks won the gold medal at light heavyweight and stopped the Sixto Soria of Cuba. In his eighth battle, he defeated the WBC champion, Muhammad ‘the biggest’ Ali by a split decision in February 1978, and improved his record to 7-0-1, just to lose the rematch. He ended with a record of 26-17-3 with 14 Stop of St. Louis, Mo.
Michael ‘Jinx’ SpinksLeon’s brother, won the gold medal in the middleweight and stopped the Roufat Riskiev of Uzbekistan. He would win the WBA Light Heavyweight title in July 1981 and defeated WBA champion Eddie Mustafa Muhammad 38-5-1 and improved his record to 17-0. He would add the WBC title and defeat Dwight Muhammad Qawi, and defeat the IBF title and Eddie Davis. He would give up all the titles to continue to defeat the heavyweight champion Larry ‘The Easton Assassin’ Holmes, 48-0, twice in September of 1985. After two defense, he was stopped by ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson, 34-0, and ended with a record of 31-1 with 21 stops of St. Louis, Mo.
Chuck ‘White Chocolate’ Walker Was the Super Welterweight and lost the ultimate gold medal Jerry Rybicki of Poland through controversial decision. He would place a 9-1-1 with 3 stop record of Mesa, AZ. He was a professional tap dancer who would produce films after his retirement.
Clint ‘The Sheriff’ Jackson Was the welter weight and lost in the quarterfinals against the Pedro Gamarro of Venezuela. Jackson was 102-14 in the amateurs and 25-7 with 9 stops in the pro ranks of Nashville, Tn. He couldn’t win the USBA and NABF titles.
‘Sugar’ Ray Leonard Was the light welterweight gold medalist. He was 145-5 with 75 stops in the amateurs and 36-3-1 with 25 Stop of Palmer Park, MD.
He won world titles at welterweight, light middleweight, middleweight, super -middle weight and light heavyweight.
Howard Davis, jr. won the gold medal at lightweight and defeated Simion Cutov of Romania. Davis would win the Val Barker trophy as the top Olympi. He was 125-5 in the amateurs and 36-6-1 with 14 Stop of New York, NY. He lost in two attempts at the WBC title and at the IBF and WBU titles.
Davey Lee Armstrong Was the featherweight and lost in the quarterfinals against Angel Herrea of Cuba. He was 107-16 in the amateurs and 24-3 with 14 stops of Puyallup, wa.
He won the NABF title and defeated Nick Furlano, 27-6-1.
Charles Mooney Was the Bantam weight and the only member to never become a pro, who made the army his career of 22 years, and ended as Sgt First Class. He won the silver medal and lost in the final against North Korea’s young Ju Gu through a controversial decision. He was from dc
Leo randolph Was the flyweight gold medalist and defeated Ramon Duvalon of Cuba and ended with an amateur record of 160-7. He won the WBA Super Bantamweight title in May 1980 and defeated Ricardo Cardona, 21-4-1, from Colombia. Then she lost next battle and ended his career at 17-2 with 9 stops. He was from Spanaway, wa.
Louis Curtis Lost in the first round in the light flyweight section Henryk Srednicki of Poland. He was 15-6-1 with 7 stops of DC which he lost in four minor title efforts.
