Things continue to be tense between ATP and PTPA.
On Friday, the dueling organizations were in court in Manhattan, where PTPA was following a GAG order against ATP.
Reilly OpelkaOne of the 12 ATP players who have been named in the PTPA lawsuit against the tournament, which was released on March 18th, called by Barcelona to testifySaying that he approached a member of the ATP player council in Miami, with the player warning him that he could lose his pension and be bogged by legal fees if he continued with the matter.

Opelka said the player, whom he would not name for fear of punishment, was asked by ATP CEO Andrea Gaudenzi to give the news. The ATP and its lawyers say Opelka is lying, but they agreed to go out and seek ATP players who were willing to deny the PTPA lawsuit the day after it began.
According to Front Office sportsATP board member Luben Pampoulov testified that he asked the players in Miami Open to sign a statement that does not file a lawsuit. They stopped circulating the petition when the PTPA movement was raised. Only one player – Ben Shelton American – signed it.
Vasek Pospisil was in the courtroom and stated that the players are afraid of punishing ATP. According to reports, ATP is rumored to be ready to spend between $ 50 and $ 100 million on the case.
