Ring Magazine came out with their new lightweight rankings, and they have some questionable choices on their top 10 list that are not based on reality. The king of the lightweight section, Gervonta Davis, is #1, which makes the perfect sentence.
KEYSHAWN: Really #2?
The list goes from then Haywire with the Old tomato can destroy Keyshawn Davis on #2. Since he has never fought with anyone and does not face his four -time conqueror Andy Cruz, he should be nowhere near the top position.
The ring top 10 list has the talents of Lamont Roach and Abdullah Masonwhich is bizarre. How can these two not be on the list? A few fighters don’t belong on the list either: Sam Noakes and Frank Martin. It’s low-level fighters in my book.
IBF-Pond champion Vasily Lomachenko was kicked off the list due to a year of inactivity, and this is a questionable step. In this climate, with fighters taking a year off and being blessed with mega money fights against Canelo Alvarez, it should not be a big case that Lomachenko has been out of action for 12 months.

That list must correct. For the beginning, Keyshawn must be pressed to the bottom on the list because he has never been fought with anyone, and he refuses to face the talented Olympic gold medal in 2020, Andy Cruz. Instead of being on #2 Keyshawn, he must be on #9 near the bottom based on his refusal to fight Cruz and his weak resume. Note: Keyshawn was almost knocked out by second level fighter Nahir Albright. He has not fought a living body ever since.
WBC Lightweight Champion Shakur Stevenson Do not be arranged at the number 3 place because he did not fight anyone but Edwin de Los Santos, as he came up to the 135 pound division in 2023.
Shakur’s poor performance against De Los Santos, with him for 12 rounds, is reason enough for him not to be on the no. 3 -place. Stevenson’s only other lightweight victories came against soft opposition, with victories on this Three cans: Shuichiro Yoshino, Artem Harutyunyan, and Josh Padley, also known as the electrician.
Frank Martin does not deserve to be on the top -10 list, to the way he knocked in his loss of Tank Davis and his struggle for Artem Harutyunyan. Martin too slow and muscle -bound to be on the top 10 list, period.
