IBF lightweight champion Raymond Muratalla against #3 Andy Cruz is possible for the November card in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The agreement must be finalized. It would be the first defense of Muratalla after being raised to the 135-pound IBF champion.

Cruz (6-0, 3 CO’s) can steal the show for the event if he has the big puncher muratalla (23-0, 17 kos) schools as he is the kind of performance he is in his last battle against Hironori Mishiro last June in Madison Square Garden in New York.
Muratalla won the IBF TUs-End Lightweight title in May last year with a running unanimous 12-round decision over Zaur Abdullaev.
Some fans already consider this struggle as Muratalla to turn his IBF title to Cruz because he does not have the technical ability to defeat the Cuban talent. Hopefully Muratalla makes it entertaining while it lasts.

The 2020 Olympic gold medal, Cruz, already appears to be the best fighter in the lightweight section after just two years in the professional ranks. Keyshawn Davis did not want to fight him until he left the section, and Shakur Stevenson Won’t even mention his name. It is a fighter who wants to fight Cruz, but the feelings do not seem to be mutual.
This is a clear sign that Cruz is a fighter with which none of the top fighters want to mix it because of what he could do to their careers. The negative side of this is that Cruz will be avoided like the pest unless Turki Alalshikh lures them to face him.
