Ramirez is ready for Garcia vs. Haney 2: upset possible in New York

Ryan Garcia revealed yesterday that he and Devin Haney should win their respective battles on May 2 for their re -broadcast in October.

This is a terrible news for Haney because he has a difficult battle against the former WBC and WBO Light Welterweight Champion Jose Ramirez (29-2, 18 food). Even before Ryan struck the starch from Devin last April, Ramirez would have been a nightmare -type opponent for him because of his style, power and amateur stem tree.

Kingry’s Golden Boy promoter, Oscar de la Hoya, previously leaked that Haney (31-0, 15 COs) would overcome in his fight against Ramirez on the Times Square card in New York for the re-broadcast with Ryan to go down.

Plan b

Garcia doesn’t say what Plan b Will be for him and Devin if one or both fighters lose in May 2nd. It will not be a big deal for Ryan if Haney is beaten because he has the re -broadcast with Gervonta Davis he could take and earn big money in battle if the tank is willing to get to 147. Ryan said he would not fight against the tank at 140 because he was too big for the division.

My Reyes on AK & BARAK: “So, who’s next? Is it Devin? ‘

Ryan Garcia: “It’s Devin.”

Akin: “But he must win (against Jose Ramirez on May 2).”

Ryan: ‘He has to win. We can’t look past our opponents. Yes, we have already confronted, and we are already ready to go. ‘

If Haney loses against Ramirez, the best he can hope for is a re -broadcast of him to try to save the situation by avenge the defeat. Maybe if Devin wins the second fight, Turki Alalshikh might still be willing to fight Garcia in early 2026.

Ramirez’s threat

Ryan and De La Hoya should not be on May 2 at Haney’s victory in his fight against Ramirez Bank. They must look at the battle with their eyes open, knowing that Haney’s chin is fragile and is likely to crumble under Ramirez’s power. Jose and his coach, Robert Garcia, have already said that they will target Haney’s glass jaw to strike him out.

This means that Ramirez swings for the fences with each shot he throws, focusing on a knockout. Although Haney would have had a year to recover from the beat he took from Garcia last April, it may not be enough that his head is 100% ready for the power photos Ramirez will hit him with.
