Leg spinner Rahul Chahar has registered himself for this competition IPL 2025 Mega auction at a base price of INR 1 crore. The 25-year-old has so far captained three teams in the IPL.
His IPL career began in 2017, when he plied his trade with the now defunct Rising Pune Supergiant. In his first IPL season, Rahul played three matches and took 2 wickets.
He was a part of the Mumbai Indians team from 2019-2021. During his time with Mumbai Indians, he won the IPL twice. He was a regular at Mumbai Indians playing eleven over three seasons.
In IPL 2019, he took 13 wickets in 13 games before taking 15 wickets in 2020. Mumbai Indians won the title in both the seasons.
In 2021, Rahul took 13 wickets before being signed by Punjab Kings in the 2022 mega auction. In three seasons for Punjab, he scored 32 goals. Rahul also played one ODI and six T20Is for Team India.
