The end of Arsenal Raheem Sterling Put in a strong performance against PSV Eindhoven last night and has obtained praise from the puncies.
Although it has been mainly a difficult season for Sterling since it was incorporated Arsenal by loan of ChelseaIt seems that not everyone has written it yet.
Speaking BBC SportBoth Shay Give and Stephen Warnock believe that there could be a more role for Sterling than we have seen so far.
The England International impressed PSV, winning the Man of the Match Award, and maybe this is a sign that begins to find its feet next to Mikel Arteta.
Of course, there will be much greater challenges than this one, with the Arsenal walking through PSV 9-3 in total to establish a final tie of the Champions League with Real Madrid.
Can Raheem Sterling a surprise hero for Arsenal this season?
It is imagined that most Arsenal fans would be so optimistic about Sterling with a similar impact against a team like Real Madrid, but, given, he has talked about the 30 -year -old potential.
“Raheem Sterling is a big name player. He is the winner of the Premier League and did so well in Manchester City, “said the former goalkeeper of Newcastle and Man City.
“It didn’t work so well at Chelsea and people will say that it has not worked for him so far in Arsenal. But I think it is an opportunity for Raheem because it can be seen that the Arsenal squad struggles for the players on the striker.
“He embraced the contact line, it is direct. We know how fast it is and we have not seen it enough with an arsenal t -shirt.”
In the meantime, Warnock added, “I think it deserves to have a chance. When you look at the arsenal they need speed in attack.”
Sterling has had a great career, and even if its maximum years are behind it now, there is probably something that can contribute between now and the end of the season.
