A lingering leg injury has forced Emma Raducanu to get out of Hong Kong.
The 21-year-old Raducanu withdrew from the Hong Kong Open today.

“I’m sorry to say that I won’t be able to play in Hong Kong next week. While my leg is making good progress, I need a little more time before I’m match fit,” Raducanu posted on social networks. “I hope to be able to come back and play this tournament in the future.”
2021 US Open champion Raducanu has been limited to just three completed matches since her run to the Washington DC quarterfinals in July.
