Last summer, PXG created a lot of turmoil when they were released Pxg allan putter. Allan represented the first real challenge for the predominance of the Zero Torque Golf Market.
What made Pxg Allan z visible was that she did the zero torque well.
Personally, I shot my low life with Allan last summer. I was amazed at the ultra -narrow distribution ring produced by Putter. I appreciated Allan Pxg so much that MygolfSSSy’s headquarters made me send them for additional testing.
(Since then, I have learned to keep my mouth shut.)
Not too long ago, the release of Pxg bat attacking ZT Confirmed that PXG was not a torque wonder with a zero kick.
Restoring it to double black
As of today, Pxg has been giving you an aesthetic choice when making purchases for an allan Mr. You can climb the traditional silver and black look, or choose the new double black version.
The idea that stands after the new end is that it reduces the splendor to the address, and from my mathematics the end makes it appear at least 17% more badass.
Zero Pxg torque design

New Pxg Allan Zt Double Black holds the original Long Central Line of Allan, but the top of the silver and the bottom, now are all black.
I am a little conflicted about the new appearance. On the one hand, the solid black body looks amazing, especially from the bottom.
My concern is that I’m not completely sure how the mono black look at the address will affect the target. I liked the silver railway with the ball width to target. It will probably be just as effective in black.
Hope I can get my hands on one to see if there is any difference between the two in terms of target. I will post my findings, and some photos of comparison in hand even with the original Allan, of course.
Pxg makes brilliant putters
Pxg Allan Zt Double Black further reinforces that PxG is a legitimate company. Undoubtedly they simply painted one of their existing black stacks, but the putter’s design is a good, and is very different from the approaches of the zero coupling of competition.
If you are wondering why they would release a black version of Allan, it is because people will buy it, meaningless. Some people on the fence for the original Allan will dance in these killed versions.
