Shane Mosley says he was disappointed and surprised by Devin Haney’s actions in his fight in May against Jose Ramirez at Times Square in New York. He helped Haney (32-0, 15 COs) prepare for the fight against the former Unified Light Welterweight Champion Ramirez in Big Bear, California.

PTSD or Haney’s game plan?
Mosley mentions that when he saw Haney running in that battle in the ring, he asked his father, Bill Haney, if it was the game plan to use movement. He believed that Haney Ramirez could have knocked out.
After watching the fight, Mosley questions or what people say about Devin is true. Last year, he had PTSD from his fight against Ryan Garcia. If Haney does have PTSD, it could continue to influence his performances outside the Ramirez fight.

Mosley says he saw Devin Spar in Big Bear in a small ring against very difficult fighters during training camp for his fight against Jose Ramirez. Shane believed in the fight that Haney Ramirez would knock out and beat someone at 140 or 147. That’s why Mosley was surprised to see Devin running around the ring all night, and not the slow-moving, slow-handed Ramirez during the fight on Times Square.
Haney’s “run” surprised Mosley
“I was like ‘I don’t believe what I see now. “All the other people say,” Ah, Ptsv. ” I am like ‘I don’t know if I can’t agree’ because this is the first time I’ve seen it, ‘Mosley said of Haney’s shy performance against Ramirez.
Tim Bradley also mentioned that he believes that Haney showed signs of PTSV that night because he believed he was spiritually affected by the beat he took in his fight against Ryan Garcia in 2024. Devin was repeatedly injured in battle, dropped three times, and an additional three times that referee Harvey Dock failed. Haney was on the canvas six times and hit as badly as a fighter could without stopping.

Fans know Devin can fight, but not if he will hold back like against Ramirez. If it wasn’t the game plan, you must be concerned about his future. It would tell you that something spiritually changed with Haney since his fight with Ryan.
