There are two pairs for every slow story.
Alejandro Tosti offered his version of events on Monday, the day after He seemed to be “slow” intention Eventual champion, min woo lee, in the last round of 2025 Houston for Children in Texas Open.
In the 8th hole in the last round of Sunday at MemorialLee hit his sweatshirt in a shrub and took 12 minutes to get a drop.
NBC broadcast showed Tosti talking to an official about the delay. NBC The Jim Bones Notifier Mackay, who was walking with the group, later said Tosti had been “a little disrespectful” to his partner playing Ryan Fox earlier in the round. In the 12th hole, the rhythm of Tosti’s game became the main scene of the story as the broadcast showed him walking too far, causing Mackay to offer an observation that showed that Tosti was upset about the slow pace in his group.
“I don’t know what’s going on, but Tosti is playing at his rhythm,” Mackay said. “Sometimes, it’s normal. Sometimes, it’s glazedly slow. But he has decided that in this special hole really take his time, and he is holding the game in this latter group.
“After all is this is too unfair for a 26-year-old boy (Lee) trying to overcome the finish line for the first time.”
Lee, who won the tournamentIt was not asked about Tosti after the round, and the media in the country did not ask for Tosti.
But on Monday, Tosti rested from his Twitter critics.
Tosti initially responded to a wiped tweet that was caught BY Golf Digest‘S Coleman Bentleywhich included a response to the accusations against him. Tosti removed the Tweet -un shortly after posting it and new word -the word of his protection.

Sunday was not the first time Tosti was involved in a controversy in Houston.
At last year’s event, he and Tony Finau went into a rod over what was away in green; Tosti eventually settled in the first place, but not before the Finau was calling again to move his ball marker.
To be right, Tosti is not among the slowest players on the tournament, and should not have received Lee 12 minutes to decide to get a drop and without having to call over an official. The tour has a slow problem (one they are trying to address), but the easiest way to fix it is to put the players an hour and then hit them if they continue to fall behind.
