Aston Villa continues his trip to the Cup on Sunday afternoon as they travel to the only side of the EFL in the competition: Preston North End.
Villans have benefited from playing all their cup in the Villa Park Cup, although they have broken the rivals of the Premier League West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur on the way to the last eight. The side of Unai Emery beat Cardiff 2-0 for the last time.
The seven winners have lost two finals of the Cup in the 21st century, but they have not lifted the trophy since 1957.
Preston was a dominant force in English game, but much of his success came a century ago. They last prevailed in this competition in 1938 and have not reached a semifinal of the Cup since 1964.
Paul Hecckingbottom has been in charge since August 20 after the departure of Ryan Lowe, but Preston has endured a family season under the old Sheffield United head. A stutter in shape before the international break leaves them 15th in the second layer and only with a remote possibility of making the play-offs.
Here is 90 minutes Guide Fa cup Quarter of the final.

Preston is without a couple of players suspended by the Sunday Cup tie, with Sam Greenwood who received his march orders against Portsmouth before the break, and Ryan Ledson collected his second competition reserve in the fifth round.
Kaine Kesler-Hayden is not eligible to face his parent club, while Ryan Porteous is linked to the Cup.
In front of injuries, Jack Whatmough’s beef injury could keep it out of the season. Ali McCann and the Osmajic Milutinian striker, recently charged by the Fa by an alleged racist observation, are doubts.
Preston predicted the line against Aston Villa (5-2-1-2): Woodman; Storyy, Gibson, Lindsay, Bauer, Brady; Whiteman, Frogkjaer-Jensen; Thordarson; Keaane, Riis.
Unai Emery will focus on the next Aston Villa Champions league Final quarter with Paris Saint-Germain, but there is a lot of time between the Sunday’s cup tie and the first stage in the French capital.
Thus, we can wait for the villages to be close to the whole weekend. While Ollie Watkins suffered a minor knee injury before the pause, it was formed before the trip to Deepdale and is expected to drive the line.
The visitors are without Ross Barkley and the Axel Disasi cup. Ezri Konsa got a blow during the victory of England over Latvia, but played the whole game and is suitable for presenting Sunday.
Aston Villa predicted the VS Preston line (4-2-3-1): Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Torres, Digna; McGinn, Tielemans; Asensio, Rogers, Ramsey; Watkins.
Preston did not have to overcome the opposition of the Premier League to reach the quarterfinals, although they beat Burnley impressively 3-0 in the fifth round. They faced the Arsenal in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup last October, but were beaten with Raci.
This is a great opportunity for the hosts, who have not been very successful in this competition for the best part of 90 years. However, they have a huge task at their disposal.
Although Villa is far from an urgent force in his travels, they should not have too much problems by sending the rather inspiring preston side of Hecckingbottom this weekend.
