Saudi Pro League club Al Ittihad are preparing to make a huge bid for him Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah as he approaches the end of his contract at Anfield.
The Egypt international is just months away from becoming a free agent, and would technically be allowed to start negotiating with clubs outside of England from January 1.
Liverpool prepare mammoth bid for world-class playmaker!
according to filesSalah is emerging as Al Ittihad’s top target, who would be willing to offer him an €85m-a-year contract if he joins them next summer.
That’s astronomical money that Liverpool may struggle to compete with, and it’s hard to imagine Salah coming close to that from any of Europe’s top clubs.

Still, Salah is still a very important player for Liverpool and as someone who has a number of years left at the top level, if he is now 32 years old.
What next for Mohamed Salah amid Saudi links?
Liverpool must surely do everything they can to keep Salah as he is clearly worth a new contract, even if you wouldn’t necessarily hand out too many long deals to players when they are over 30.
Some footballers, however, have a different build, and it looks like Salah could be in a similar category to Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Luka Modric in being able to play into their 30s.
Salah should also think twice about the money, although the offer from Saudi Arabia is likely to be mind-blowing as he is surely good enough to keep trying to play at the highest level and win more trophies important before retiring.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have been linked with Rodrygo Goes of Real Madrid in a report of filesand could be a worthy replacement if Salah leaves.
