The January 2025 transfer window has opened, with Premier League clubs eyeing reinforcements midway through another grueling campaign.
A number of teams in England’s top flight will strengthen during the winter window as those from the top and bottom of the table look to finish strong. The last chance to strengthen positions before the end of the quarter may prove too good to pass up for many.
Just £96.2m was spent during the January 2024 window and it remains to be seen how active Premier League teams are in the market this year. With financial constraints in place, clubs will have to strike a balance between managing money and improving performance on the pitch.
