Did you know that only three players have won the ATP titles by winning each of their matches from a story set in open Era history?
And two of them have reached Feat in the last two seasons.
The first one was excellent Arthurwho won the 1975 WCT final in that way.
49 years later happened again as Bublik alexander Took the Montpellier title by winning all matches from one group.
At the beginning of this French season Alexandre Muller It became the third when he won Hong Kong by winning from a set every round.
There are differences between three achievements. Ashe won only three games in the WCT final in 1975, but they were the best of the five (he never lost the first two groups).
Bublik won four matches in Montpellier in 2024; Muller won five games in Hong Kong and is therefore the only player to win five games after losing his first set on the way to a title.
