Manchester United marked Ruben Amorim’s first game at Old Trafford with a second in a row Europa League victory, beating Norway’s Bodo/Glimt in a five-goal thriller.
Alejandro Garnacho scored with less than a minute played to send the United fans into dreamland, but a first-half collapse saw Bodo/Glimt take a shock lead after goals from Hakon Evjen and Philip Zinckernagel , before Rasmus Hojlund leveled things up just before the break.
Hojlund got his second in the early stages of the second half to restore the home side’s advantage and united they were able to successfully navigate the rest of the game to move up to 12th in the league stage table, five matches later.
