Rangers condemned rivals Celtic to a first Scottish Premiership defeat of the season in Thursday afternoon’s Old Firm derby, securing a stunning 3-0 victory at Ibrox.

However, the Light Blues would soon double their lead when a provocative corner found the head of the energetic Nicolas Raskin, who saw his shot deflected into the path of Robin Propper. The Dutch defender slotted home at the far post to send the home crowd reeling and put the Gers in a dominant position heading into the final 25 minutes.
Rangers slipped further into dreamland in the 81st minute when substitute Danilo, who had only been on the pitch for 70 seconds, scored from distance after a fortuitous deflection, securing a declared win to ease the pressure on Gers coach under fire, Philippe Clement.
