Portrush, Northern Ireland – Hello, friends and happy Wednesday from Royal! It was a stunning day here in northern Ireland and I couldn’t be enjoying this trip more.
Photobomb i rahm
My Tuesday evening in Portrarian will be difficult to defeat. Then again, is Open Weeks, so I wouldn’t completely shock if we had another surprise or two before Sunday evening.
My associates and I went to the port bar for dinner and drink last night, and we hanged out and talked as we were waiting to sit down. I ordered Harp Lager and saw it as I put it all, and let me just say that the people they watched were second. There were cadds, agents, other members of the media, locals and golf fans in the city to open, along with some players. Including Jon Rahm.
My associate Emma Devine was taking some photos of James Colgan, Dylan Dethier and I when we noticed that someone had entered our photo. At the time he was registered with all three of us that he was Jon Rahm, he was entering his car and being expelled.
This was one of the most unexpected meetings I had while I was in place for a golf tournament. I am a fan of the fact that Rahm: 1) was hanging on a bar during the open week, along with regular people; and 2) was willing to have fun with a photosobomb (or after some people in X are calling it, a “photosorahm”) in its exit.
Rorymania!
I reached the course this morning and went to the range for just before I went back to the media center to eat breakfast and then participate in Press conference R&A. After that, I had a lunch and headed to follow the round of Rory Mcilroy’s practice. It was like 60 degrees away with a light breeze, and the crowds that after their homeland favorites were massive.
Seeing Rory RORY Round galleries in Portrush Today was pretty sweet. Solidly 10 people deeply on Wednesday. The hometowns are hit differently. Pic.twitter.com/ex4mktiust

I noticed that there is a LOT More children in Open than in other golf tournaments I have participated in. And I don’t just want to say teenagers. Are 4- to 12 years old. The last of them seems to have the time of their lives, and everyone wants to see Rory Mcilroy.
Unique Open Padraig Harrington Research
Padraig Harrington He is undoubtedly known for his golf talent and more recently, his ability to help medium players improve their game thanks to his YouTube channel. But the sample open twice and pointed to the aluminum “SCOOP” has a third and equally important secret talent: a deep, deep knowledge of ice cream.
Harrington is a ball certified stroke when it comes to ice cream, specifically 99s. If you are like me and you would never have heard of them before I spent time in Europe, let me introduce you to you. 99 are soft-serving ice cream with a flame chocolate rod served in a cone. It turns out that Harrington has not attracted him to open championships over the years, he is conducting research.
Harrington says Royal Portrush has the best 99 of any open place, and we can get his word for him, because a quick search of the Getty image proves that he has enjoyed the 99s in many open championships.
As a connoisseur of ice cream myself, I had no choice but to try a royal portrait 99 of my own, and that did not disappoint.
I will make sure to enjoy some of them this week just to ensure that Harrington’s claim is correct.
