Coach K – or Mike Krzyzewski – Duke -Trained Basketball in Duke for 42 seasons, winning five NCAA national championships and gathering the biggest victories of each NCA Division of Men’s Basketball Division. Coach K also led the National Basketball team for American men in three Olympic gold medals and three world championships during his term. His leadership skills have made him one of the most honorable coaches in history. Holtz gained a reputation to turn sick football programs and trained a number of college teams in bowl games. He famously won a notre Dame national championship in 1988. After retiring from training, Holtz worked as a college football analyst for CBS and ESPN, where his humor and relativity made him a popular figure.
When an X user stressed that Holtz will be 90 years old when the next Ryder Cup is played in Ireland in 2027, Mickelson responded “Lou Holtz Type Coach” with a face emoji.
It is clear that Mickelson believes something US leadership lacks Ryder Cup. In 2014, Mickelson publicly Criticked US Captain Tom Watson During the team press conference after losing to Gleneagles in Scotland. Mickelson was once thought to be a visible choice for the captain’s role, but his movement in Liv has made it impossible until he has a partnership. When a user responded to Mickelson’s post that he is the response the US needs, Mickelson replied, “scattered, but I am not.”
The other US Cup captain has not yet been announced. The 2027 Ryder Cup will be played on September 13-19 at Adare Manor in Ireland.
