Oasis’s leader Liam Gallagher has had a reputation to be one of the weakest characters in the music business: he is never afraid to speak his mind and never rests on a confrontation.
Manchester City head, Pep Guardiola, however, saw a rare vision of what the “Wonderwall” singer is at the closed doors, and is far from the hard reputation.
Guardiola attended the Homecoming Concert from Oasis to Heaton Park Earlier this year, the band’s first show on the grass of home since 2009, with her daughter Maria. Not only was he soaked in the atmosphere and sang in the successes, but also had the opportunity to meet the Gallagher brothers, both well -known supporters of the Manchester City and their families.
Although he knew Noel Gallagher, who often attended Games in the Etihad, was the first time Guardiola met Liam, and he has now opened about experience.

In the concert itself, Guardiola could not have been more complementary, describing Oasis as “the best rock band of the last 50 years” while taking advantage of it to compare them with their own city.
“I don’t know how many countries sold out, but that means they were,” he said. “When (people) say that this team will be one of the best, I always say,” Ask me after 25 years. “Then, if people still talk about this team, it was a good team.”
He added, “It’s like oasis, right? They return again and they were exhausted all over the world, it’s because they are good. Otherwise, it’s not exhausted.”
Even larger rock legends have a softer side, apparently.
