Pep Guardiola has changed his style and Manchester City Fans love Ted Lasso’s new energy.
As City is preparing for a brief preseason, Guardiola was located at the Monarka Clinic in Barcelona, known for the tip recovery treatments. But it was not the clinic that caught the attention of everyone: it was the new face of Pep, who left the beard of signature for only a mustache.
The new appearance resulted in comparisons with the beloved Jason Subeikis fiction coach of “Ted Lasso” on Apple TV, a program that appeared once.
A fan of the city joked: “Pep Guardiola now has a mustache inspired by Ted Lasso, as it aims to turn around after the disastrous last season of Manchester City.”
Another was shown, quoting Lasso’s iconic line: “I Believe”: perfectly capturing the hope that is at the helm and Pep’s new style.
The Cameo de Guardiola in “Ted Lasso” took place during the penultimate episode of season 3.
In a sincere moment after a game between the fictional AFC Richmond and the city, Guardiola said to the titular coach of Sudikis: “Don’t worry about victories or losses. Just help these guys be the best version of themselves and off the pitch. This is the most important thing in the end.”
Lasso replied, “I couldn’t agree anymore.”

By reflecting on their site of guests, Shared Pep: “As a family, my young daughter Valentina and my wife enjoy watching the program. We are great fans, and when I was offered a cameo, I thought, why not? It was fantastic to meet the actors.”
With a fresh casing and a lot of optimism, Pep is ready to bring the same spirit to the next chapter of the city.
