New York-In the wrong day from the sun, a perfect storm hit Arthur Ase Stadium.
Jessica Pegula was dynamic and Barbora Krekikova weakened.
Operating on the opposite ends of the physical spectrum, Pegula hit a 6-3, 6-3 win changing to her second direct semifinal of the US Straight.

A masterful Pegula has been ruthlessly torn through the draw. Ten groups up and down is placed down.

The fourth-range pegula came out running the ball, exploding deep into the 4-1 lead.
As the set was progressing, Krycikova began to reduce its first service with more frequency.
The big champion twice broke for 3-4. Serving at the level, Krycika coughs with her third double guilt to face the resting point.
Driven by a strange Pegula return, Krycikova hit a preface in the net while Pegula broke for 5-3.

Fifty -three minutes in the match, Krycikova rotated a diagonal winner of the vanguard, holding to get on the board.
Creating a mini-dilemma, Pegula enclosed consecutive consecutive errors to face the resting point in the fourth match. Krekikova tried to play the purpose of the fall, but Pegula quickly exploded from the blocks, grabbed the ball and sang a back slice to save the resting point. This smart improvisation helped America stay strong and hold 3-1.
The accuracy and depth of Pegula gave the small room to Krycika to operate. When Wimbledon winner of 2024 sailed a preface, Pegula sealed her fourth vacation for a 6-3, 4-1 lead.

A double mistake of Krekikova brought Pegula Match Point. When Krekikova’s last preface fell long, Pegula reached her second consecutive US Open semifinal in one hour, 26 minutes.
“I think I surprised myself. I think, at the end of the day, I always go back to the fact that I am very sure with who I am, and I think I will always return myself and understand the end instead of the spiral type and letting it go too far,” Pegula told this SH.BA “I mean, I always think of myself.
“This is the type of what I’ve been able to do for the last four or five years, being a high player. I feel like I can always get back to the fact that I can understand in the end, and he always hits me in the most difficult moments of the year.”
