Jessica Pegula has come out of Brisbane.
The US Open finalist withdrew from Brisbane with a knee injury.
Dream Team: Djokovic and Kyrgios to partner in Brisbane
The 30-year-old Pegula, an Adelaide semi-finalist last January, suffered a left knee injury after her run in her first major final at Flushing Meadows.

The 31-year-old Tomljanovic, who like Pegula has been battling a left knee injury, said she hopes to be fit for the Australian Open.
“I’m very disappointed to withdraw from the Brisbane International, but I wanted to be 100 percent ready to compete, which I’m not,” Tomljanovic wrote in an Instagram post. “I will continue my preparation and see you all at the Australian Open.”
Kokkinakis, who represented Australia in last month’s Davis Cup final 8 in Malaga, Spain, has been bothered by a “little hip issue”.
The man who partnered Nick Kyrgios in the 2022 Australian Open doubles championship is still on the entry list for Adelaide, a week before the start of the Australian Open.
Sad to lose @BrisbaneTennis this year. Dealing with a little hip issue which is taking a bit more time but hopefully we’ll be back for the rest of the summer
