Veter’s champions will lead the USA team next month Billie Jean King qualifying.
SH.BA finalist open Jessica Pegula and Miami and Charleston Champion Danielle Collins Chief of the United States team announced by the captain Lindsay Davenport.
McCartney Kessler, Asia Muhammad AND Desirae Krawczyk Join Collins and Pegula representing the US while competing against Denmark and expecting Slovakia in Group C of 2025 Billie Jean King Cup from Gainbridge Qualification held April 11-13 in Bratislava.
Qualifiers have 18 nations competing in six round groups around the world April 10-13, with the winner of each group advancing in the final to compete for the championship.
The final will be a competition with the eight nations of the tie played the second week of November in Shenzhen, China, with the protection of the Italian champions and China’s hosts already confirmed.
The US will compete in Group C against Denmark and Slovakia in a strong court within the Peugeot Arena at the National Tennis Center of Slovakia in Bratislava.
Eachdo match is a better tie of three that features two double matches and one pair, all the best groups of three triebreaks.
Captains present their bachelors and doubles one hour before each tie begins. As the group winner progresses in the finals, second and third places must compete in the Play Off round, also in November and also play in round groups in order to return to the qualifying pool for 2026.

The United States leads all nations in the titles of Billie Jean King Cup, on 18. The US is 2-0 of all time against Denmark (1990 and 1992 rounds) and 0-2 vs Slovakia (2021 finals Group Stage; 2024 finals first round).
Pegula, 31, is the second -ranking American in singles at no.4 and recently won her seventh WTA Singles career title in Austin amid a seven -game victory. A US 2024 US Open bachelor’s finalist, Pegula has captured the Qualifying Victory for the Billie Jean King Cup each of the last three years.
Collins, 31, ranks 14th in singles and ranked up to 8 last year. An Australian Open 2022 bachelors finalist, Collins has a 7-2 career record in the Billie Jean King Cup race and has competed in four successive Billie Jean King Cup finals.
Kessler, 25, ranks in a high career No. 48 in whim. Already this year she won her second career title WTA Singles (Hobart) and reached her third career final (Austin) in her second year competing on the tournament. This is her first nomination of Billie Jean King Cup.
Muhammad, 33, ranks in a high career No. 10 in doubles. She won three of her 11 WTA career titles in 2024, and helped the US progress to the 2022 final with a decisive double qualifying win (with Pegula) in its only BJK Cup presentation.
Krawczyk, 31, ranks 15th in pairs and is ranked as high as no. 7. A four-time champion Grand Slam Mixed Double, Krawczyk won its 15th WTA Double Career Title in Singapore. She was also a member of the US team for the 2022 qualification.
