US Open is over before it started Paula Badosa.
Former Bota No. 2 Badosa is officially withdrawn from this month’s US Open.

Badosa, who has been fighting a backpack in recent years, has not played a match since bowing to Briton Katie Boulter in three groups in its opening Wimbledon last month.
Badosa’s departure gives Swiss Jil Teichmann Entry to the main draw of US Open, Usta announced today. Veteran Alize corner Now he is the first player outside the main draw.
Initially, Badosa and ex-boyfriend Stefanos Tsitsias were on the list of double-mixed tournament in the US Open. After separating as a couple, the pair pulled out of the mixed doubles in the open US.
In the latest USTA entrance list, Badosa settled for partner Jack Draper in a Indian Wells champions match, but that will not happen with her Flushing Meadows attraction.
An Australian semi -finalist Open in January, Badosa will lose US Open in her New York City hometown for the second time in the last three years.
A year ago, Badosa reached the US Open quarterfinals losing to Emma Navarro 6-2, 7-5. Badosa continued at a successful Asian rhythm reaching the semifinals at the WTA 1000 in Beijing and at the WTA 500 in Ningbo, where she withdrew after throwing her first set in Daria Kasina.
Due to her back issues, Badosa has either retired or received a walk seven times in the last two years.
