Paul Scholes has criticized Man United star Marcus Rashford

Manchester United and Chelsea drew 1-1 at Old Trafford in a game that lacked quality for much of the game.

Bruno Fernandes gave the home side the lead in the second half with a penalty, but his goal was canceled out by a stunning strike from Moises Caicedo.

The one point Chelsea earned against the Red Devils was enough to move them into the Premier League’s top four ahead of Arsenal.

It was a result that didn’t work in either team’s favor and there were few players who impressed in the big game at Old Trafford.

One of the Man United players who received criticism from Paul Scholes for his foul was Marcus Rashford.

The England striker had a great chance to score for the home side but his poor effort failed to make a difference on the scoreline and Scholes was unhappy with the 27-year-old.

Scholes criticized Rashford Premier League productionsas reported Football TBR:

“I hope he does better. I think he’s trying to make the goal look better by going high into the roof of the net. It’s a pretty simple side-footed volley from seven yards.

“All he has to do is keep it low.”

Marcus Rashford is struggling to feature at Man United

Rashford will be hoping to return to goalscoring form to impress new manager Ruben Amorim.

The Man United star has struggled at the club for a long time, but was hoping a change of manager at the club would help revive his career.

He scored seven goals in 33 Premier League appearances last season and his performances have not improved this season with the striker scoring just one goal in 10 appearances.

As a senior member of the team, he needs to improve his performances and become the leader of Man United’s attack.
