Jake Paul was slammed by Mike Tyson for acting like a fool during the weigh-in face-off Thursday ahead of their eight-round fight this Friday night at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Paul (10-1, 7 KOs) crouched football stance and chased Tyson, and was greeted with a hard slap to the left side of his face. The slap left a large red mark on the left side of Jake’s face, knocking him down.
Weighing results
Jake Paul – 227.2 lbs
Mike Tyson – 228.4 lbs
Jake wanted to be spanked again
He immediately pointed to his buck’s grunt and invited Tyson to spank him even harder, indicating that he wanted more pain. Some weird thing, I guess, or maybe Jake was trying to get out of the fight by sustaining an injury. Hard to know with someone like that. He’s not a boxer, so you can’t get into the mind of someone like that.
The slap was well deserved as Jake came at the former heavyweight champion with his hands bear crawl on the ground, leaving Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) with no choice but to slap the taste out of his mouth.
Tyson, 58, had no idea what Paul was going to do when he charged at him like a bull. It was either Jake or beat him, and Tyson chose the former so as not to risk the fight.
I don’t know what the bear crawl thing by Jake Paul was about. Was it a move to insult Tyson to mock him for secretly saying he feels he is not a man? Whatever it was, Jake coming at him with a bang. Was Jake trying to dehumanize Mike Tyson with the bear crawl bit? If it were me, I would have done the same thing to Paul. They would have had to pull me off him if he had come to me.
“I didn’t even feel it. He’s an angry little elf,” Jake Paul said interviewed after the slap in the ring. “Mike Tyson, I thought it was a nice slap, but tomorrow night you get knocked out.”
Jake was spoiled to be hit or punched by Mike. He’s just lucky Tyson didn’t bite off one of his ears, because that would have spoiled the diamond-encrusted ear bob he wore during the last press conference.
