The New York Yankees lost the World Series to the Los Angeles Dodgers, only to also lose Juan Soto when he signed with the New York Mets.
The Yankees responded by making several key acquisitions, including starting pitcher Max Fried, relief pitcher Devin Williams, outfielder Cody Bellinger and first baseman Paul Goldschmidt.
Goldschmidt is the latest acquisition since coming over from the St. Louis Cardinals, and he revealed his thoughts on playing with Aaron Judge.
“He’s one of the best hitters in the world, probably the best hitter as a right-handed hitter, a guy I’m very, very excited to play with and see him work every day,” Goldschmidt said, via the YES Network.

When it comes to Goldschmidt and Judge, talent knows talent.
Goldschmidt is a 14-year MLB veteran who is a seven-time All-Star and former NL MVP.
He revealed how excited he is to play with one of the best hitters in baseball, and it will be something to watch when both of these players are in the same lineup.
With the Cardinals in 2024, Goldschmidt played 154 games and batted .245 with 22 home runs, 65 RBI and a .716 OPS.
The Yankees have made up for the loss of Soto somewhat with their many acquisitions, and their offense may be better than it was last season.
