The Milwaukee Brewers made the postseason for the second straight year as they finished with a record of 93 wins and 69 losses.
Although they made the playoffs and won the National League Central for the second consecutive season, the Brewers were eliminated early as they lost to the New York Mets in the wild-card round.
The Beers lost their former MVP Christian Yelich to injury during the offseason, but their star rookie outfielder Jackson Churio was able to fill his spot.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy gave his thoughts on Jackson Churio this season.
“I’ve never seen that kind of growth in the big leagues. You didn’t want anybody else at the plate at the end of the year,” Murphy said.
“I’ve never seen growth like that in the big leagues.”

Churio played in his first MLB season in 2024 and struggled early in the year, but made it through the end of the year.
His impressive rookie season was enough to finish third in National League Rookie of the Year voting.
Churio played in 148 games and hit .275 with 21 home runs, 79 RBI and a .791 OPS.
Murphy describes that he has never seen a player struggle at the beginning of a season and grow so much at the end of the same season.
Churio bounced back from a miserable slump with seemingly every at-bat for his team.
Even though the Brewers lost Yelich, Churio was able to step up and be that guy, and the Brewers hope he can continue his success into his second year.
