Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Usman Khawaja, Mitchell Marshand Marnus Labuschagne were at the receiving end of some of the most burning questions about their lives and cricket. They also revealed their and their teammates’ most personal, controversial and secret facts on Fox Network’s Fletch and Hindy.
The rules of the game were simple, for each correct answer, a blue light was lit, and if the answer was incorrect, the players were given an electric shock. The first set of questions were quite simple and did not have any difficult questions as the players answered them easily.
Australian Test pilot Pat Cummins was asked to name his partner and Josh Hazlewood if he had a middle name, and he replied “Reggie”. They also asked if his real name was Joshua. Marnus Labuschagne was asked to pronounce his surname.
Labuschagne came up with the real pronunciation and came up with “chagne”, playing off all Labu’shane as most experts and cricket fans around the world call it.
Pat Cummins Calls the Baseball Bull****
The second quick questions during the lie detector test were Australian players who faced some spicy questions. Test captain Pat Cummins was asked if he felt ‘Bazball’ was bull ****. The speedster replied: “He is.” Pat Cummins was also tight-lipped when asked whether former cricketers have become commentators.
Travis Head, who won the Man of the Match at the 2023 World Cup finals, was asked about his fun scenes after winning the tournament. He was asked, “Travis, do you like to party?” In response, he said: “Yes.”
He was then asked: “Have you had more than five beers since winning the World Cup? More than 10?” More than 25?.” The Australian opener then replied “no”. But this was not the correct answer because the batter was electrocuted.
Usman Khawaja also asked him, “Is the current Australian team in a better environment without David Warner?” when he asked the question, he was electrocuted. He answered no, that was not true.
The final set of questions revealed the mystery about Glenn Maxwell. The Australian all-rounder has made headlines several times for his “alcohol-related off-field antics”.. He was recently hospitalized during Australia’s series against the West Indies.
Marnus Labuschagne was asked about Glenn Maxwell’s golf cart crash during the 2023 World Cup. He fell off the cart and was then ejected from the next game. When Dough was asked if it was a cover for something like a fish, he said, “No, I saw it fall off the cart.” But he was shocked.
