Manny Pacquiao’s Comeback is official – he will fight WBC Welterweight Champion Mario Barrios on Saturday, July 19 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, which is directly streaming Prime video Ppv.
Yes, the 45-year-old is back for another belt … and Mario Barrios is the one who defends it. The PPV card starts at 20:00 ET / 17:00 pt / 1:00 AM UK / 2:00 AM CET, with under map fights, including Sebastian Fundora against Tim Tszyu II, Isaac Cruz against Angel Fierro II, and Brandon Figueroa against Joet Gonzalez.

Fighters talk before July 19 showdown
Pacquiao said the fire is still there. He still has mountains, still obsessed with boxing, and still calls himself ‘the challenger’. He thanks fans for accepting him and promises a real battle, not a farewell tour. “Me and me together in the ring will satisfy the fans,” he said, adding, “Pacquiao always gives surprises.”
Barrios is not Starstruck. He calls it the biggest battle in his career, but made it clear that Pacquiao is just another man trying to take. “I’m the champion for a reason,” he said. “He has the name, but I have the belt.”
In the co-head meeting, Sebastian Fundora and Tim Tszyu held it back earlier this year after their massacre. Fundora said he didn’t think the fight was going the distance this time. Tszyu calls it his ‘most important struggle’ and promised to rewrite the screenplay to what he admits was a mental decline from the center.
Isaac Cruz and Angel Fierro will also go to their February scrap again. Cruz kept it short and nasty: “He says I don’t have a chin, but I still beat him.” Fierro says he has shaken Cruz before and plans to do it again.
Brandon Figueroa, who opens the PPV, stands in front of Joet Gonzalez at night at night. Figueroa is now with Manny Robles and said he ‘comes with everything’. Gonzalez calls it the greatest platform of his life and plans to steal the show.
Why it matters and what can go wrong
If Pacquiao wins, he becomes a world champion again at 45. And with Canelo on speed control, the legends of the sport are increasingly increasing than his prospects. Barrios has everything to lose – legacy, belt and legitimacy.
Fundora against Tszyu was able to steal the night again. Both love violence. None of defense. Cruz against Fierro is pure despite. And Figueroa against Gonzalez? This is your warning shot for the rest of the night.
From top to bottom, it is one of the strongest cards that PBC has merged in years. And if you are not at least generously curious or Pacquiao has anything left, you are lying.
