Lorenzo Masetti He receives comfort in the exquisite tennis he played to reach his first 1000 weekend final in Monte-Carlo, but even after reaching his first masters final and recording 10 pre-after-back victories in the same event, he says the work is too far away.
After his body released him in the last two groups of loss 3-6, 6-1, 6-0 of Sunday Carlos AlcarazMasetti spoke about his greatest goal for the reason: Achieving Top 10.
The Italian will grow in a high standard of career no.11 in Monday’s ranking, but it is aiming above.
“I get a lot of positive things,” 23-year-old journalists told. “I’ve achieved some of my goals. Of course we are already, focusing on other goals and trying to be ambitious and trying to motivate myself of course, because the first 10 places are not there yet.
“This was probably the main goal of the season now. But we are close enough to continue to fight, we continue to dream.”

No Barcelona
As a result of his injury, Masetti has chosen to withdraw from Barcelona next week, but he fully expects to play in Madrid and Rome before Roland-Garros.
“I will take a week now and won’t go to Barcelona, and I will play Madrid. Hope I will be 100 percent,” he said.
Masetti says he still does not know the status of his damage.
“We still don’t know exactly, but of course we will take some exams in the coming days. The thing is that, as you have seen for sure, I couldn’t know, finish the match properly, but, you know, in a final, I didn’t want to retire.”
