Osaka Past Fernandez gatherings for Wuhan’s first victory – tennis now

Naomi Osaka’s first trip to Wuhan in eight years – and her ever seen appearance at the Center Court – resulted in a return victory against Leylalah Fernandez. The big champion four times gathered for a 4-6 7-5 6-3 to prenote a second round collision with the China Open race up to Linda Noskova.

Noskova, who lost to Amanda Animova in the final in Beijing, defeated Yulia Putintseva 6-4 4-6 7-6 (2).

Osaka nets her 13th 13th victory and is thrown at 28-14 a year with a bold attempt to see her take control of the last two groups with large services and the first stroke tennis on a hot, sunny day in Wuhan.

Seed No.11 did not face a resting point in the last set, as she opened the competition by winning five straight matches from 5-5 in the second set.

Osaka only needed one break in Set three to win her first career victory in Wuhan, and her first on Fernandez.

The annoying conditions wreaked havoc on some players on Tuesday, as Emma Raducanu and Jelena Ostapenko were forced to retire in the second group of their meetings with lower -ranking players.

Emma Raducan withdrew as she traced American Ann Li, 6-1, 4-1, while Ostapenka withdrew the plug after winning only one match against Sorana Cirstea, 6-0, 2-1 Ret.

(12) Karolina Muchova (d. Kostyuk) and Zhang Shuai (d. (14) Navarro) each wins with three sets.
