One day chaos in wimbledon

Tuesday’s first round at the All England club turned the tour into his head, with a string of startling results that saw some of the biggest names in the game made early exits.

The tournament has seen that it is the part of the shocking results over the years – but rarely this has happened so fast. It felt like half of the equation unfolded before we hit the third day.

The most eye opening result came when no. 2 Seeds Coco Guff, just a few weeks removed from Roland Garros’s profit, fell into straight groups in Dayana Yastremska of Ukraine, 7-6 (3)) ,, 6-1. Gauff looked firmly after a narrow first set, and Yastremska used completely, staying aggressive and never letting him turn off.

This was not the only surprise on the part of women. No. 3 Jessica Pegula was overthrown by Elisabetta Cocciaretto, Italy, while no. 5 Zheng Qinwen lost to the qualification Lulu Sun. Three of the five main seeds past one afternoon – this is not something you often see in a major, and this leaves the parents of open women.

Men’s drawing was not even back.

No. 3 Alexander Zverev went to the distance, but came out short against Arthur Rinderknech. No. 7 Lorenzo Musetti could not find answers against Nicolosis Basilashvili. No. 8 Holger Rune leaves a two -set lead to slide to loss to Nicolás Jarry. And no. 9 Daniil Medvedev was exceeded by Benjamin Bonzi in four groups.

It’s the first time since 1998 that four ball-10 Men’s seeds have fallen into the opening round in Wimbledon.

What is behind the chaos? Some things stand out. The grass is fast, confidence is everything, and players out of high level are more dangerous than ever. Those ranked out of attention are growing with nothing to lose – and in an environment like Wimbledon, that mentality can roll a match quickly.

On Tuesday, the implications took control early, waved freely, and the favorites were not allowed to settle inside. This courage was paid.

With some contenders already outside, the forward path has changed dramatically – and for fans, that means we could be in an exciting, unpredictable two weeks in ExtinguishCircle.
