One can beat Scottie Scheffler on Sunday?

Scottie Scheffler will begin the last round of the 2025 open championship with a four -shot lead over his nearest rival, Haotong Li. Five strokes after Scheffler is Matthew Fitzpatrick, and six shots back are four players tied up in eight under par: Rory Mcilroy, Tyrrell Hatton, Chris Gotterup and Harris English.

Who is your choice to win?

Zephyr Melton, editor of upgrading associate games (@Zephyrmelton) :: Scott Alexander Scheffler. The best player in the world with a four 54-year-old lead? There is no other way that this ends than with scottie holding south claret tomorrow evening.

Jessica Marxbury, high editor (@Jess_Marksbury) :: I agree, Zeph! I don’t see this going in any other way. Stopping a last historical round from, say, Rory – (hey, you never know!) – and a premature (and impossible) collapse by Mr Scheffler, of course feels like this is already in books.

Scottie Scheffler * could miss this open championship. But he will not

Josh Schrock, news editor (@schrock_and_Awe) :: My famous colleagues are likely to be accurate, but where is the fun in this? I don’t think Scottie brings out on Sunday, but even the best have days where they are stuck in neutral and someone else steals one of them. It happened with Rory Mcilroy, and this time, on household land, Rory is the one who follows the leader down and steals a major. Give me a last round 63 from Mcilroy to Nip Scottie, who shoots 70, by one. Dare you dream, right?

Josh Berhow, managing editor (@Josh_berHow) :: Scheffler wins and this question must be actually who ends second.

Jack Harsh, editor of associate equipment (@Jr_bresany) :: You know what Schrock, I love that answer. What if I say that Mcilroy fights his way in a play off with 65 others and Scheffler makes a herd to 18 for AA 71 to give us one of the most electric Play off in golf history? Then the two tie in the four -hole aggregate and Mcilroy finally wins it with a bird in the first sudden hole of the play off. Wouldn’t it be something? Yes, many… Scheffler from three for an Mcilroy accuser.

Seduce sense: (@Jossens) :: Shocked and worried that no one has chosen Haotong Li. Golf links is extremely unpredictable, except in this case. They can begin to carve the Scheffler’s name in the container now. Rory will make a run, but something strange will ruin it. Ditto Hatton, which provides us with a demonstration entertainment on the way to the inevitable.
