Doha (Qat, January 16). Olympic champion Tamirat Tola won the Doha Marathon in a record time of 2:05:40 (62:22/63:18), ahead of the Ethiopian 1-2-3 of Asefa Boki (2:05:55) and Boki Diriba (2:06). Eritrea’s OQBE Kibrom was the best non-Ethiopian in 6th 2:07:55 and Kenyan Nicholas Kirwa was the best 9th in 2:10:5 Tigist Gezahagn won the women’s race in 2:21:14 pb (70:35/70:39 from A-Girma 1st 70:39). (2:22:33) and Muluhabt Tsega (2:23:21). Kenyan Aman Mursi made his debut in Marathon 4th with 2:23:3
