Oliveira, who reached a double career order of no. 77 in August 2020, presented a sample in competition while competing at an ATP Challenger event in Manzanillo, Mexico, on November 25, 2024.

The sample was divided into samples A and B and subsequent analysis found that the sample A contained methamphetamine, which is prohibited under TADP, in the category of stimulants. Oliveira has not appealed his suspension.

“Findings for non-specified substances carry a mandatory temporary suspension-in the case of Oliveira, this was in force from January 17, 2025,” Itia said in its statement. “The players have the right to appeal to the placement of their temporary suspension in front of an independent court chair. Oliveira has not appealed.

“While temporarily suspended, Oliveira is forbidden to play, train in, or participate in an authorized or sanctioned tennis event by Members of ITIA (ATP, ITF, WTA, Tenis Australia, Fédération Française de Tenis, Wimbledon and Usta ) or any national associations. “
