Oleksandr Ulsyk surprised today when asked about Tyson Fury’s remarks about a trilogy match between them in 2026.
USYK (23-0, 14 costs) beat former two-time heavyweight champion Fury twice in 2024, with the second competition a conclusive decision of 12 round. ‘The Gyspy King’ Fury’s desire to fight for Oleksandr a third time seems strange to fans, some of whom feel that he is a wave of punishment.
Oleksandr, 38, says he thinks Fury is “crazy”, and he doesn’t want to discuss a trilogy match with him until he was not at the IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, July 19 at Wembley Stadium. The two are fighting for the undisputed championship, and it is not a certainty that usyk will overcome.
“I don’t judge Tyson Fury, but I don’t know what’s going on,” Oleksandr Ulsyk told the Bumpy groundand respond to him and say that they are fighting in a trilogy match in 2026.
It is unclear how serious Fury is to want the third battle with Usyk, because it is perhaps that he is trying to save his loyal fans. To show power, Fury must at least pretend to want an opportunity to avenge his two losses. It would harm his credibility if he pension without calling his desire for revenge.
“I don’t know, now I don’t think about this,” said Usyk about a fight between him and Tyson in 2026.
USYK can’t afford to look past his re-broadcast on Saturday with Dubois (22-2, 21 COs). It is a dangerous puncher and much younger on 27. For him to look past this young gun, it would be a mistake.
“We have a fight in 2026? Your crazy guy! After the fight (at Dubois), we will talk about this, ‘Utsyk said about Fury’s remark to fight him next year.
It is understandable that USKyk opens the option of a third battle with USyk. The Olympic Gold Medal Medal USyk in 2012 reportedly earned $ 45 million for its first fight against Fury in May 2024 and $ 82.5 million for the Rematch in December last year, according to The sun.
