Hitting his palm over his heart as a defibrillator, qualifying Valentin Vacherot drew the most pulsating victory of his life.
World no. 204 Vacherot rocked Grand Slam King Novak Djokovic 6-3, 6-4 by entering his maiden finale in Masters Rolex Shanghai today.
This is more than a stunning concern, it is a massive milestone. Vacherot went to be an alternative in qualifying to make history as the lowest rank finalist at the ATP Masters 1000 History and the first man from Monaco to reached an ATP final.
Vacherot summarized this Cinderella run in a single word “Crazy”.
“To beat me, I’m not understanding, so I can’t make a word on it,” Vacherot said afterwards. “Like this is just crazy.

One of the most startling directions of this season ATP will continue as Vacherot aims to keep this trip Joy by revolving in tomorrow’s final.
