24 times Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic will open its 2025 season at the star-studded Brisbane International.
The tournament announced its field on Wednesday. Andy Murray, Djokovic’s new coach and two-time Brisbane champion, is not expected to attend.
“I’m excited to start my Australian run at the Brisbane International and to compete again at Pat Rafter Arena,” said Djokovic, who will be seeking his 100th tour-level title.
Djokovic last played in Brisbane in 2009.
Set for December 29 to January 5, Grigor Dimitrov, Holger Rune, Frances Tiafoe and Nick Kyrgios are also on the entry list.

He enters the season with an all-time record of 1124-222. He will compete for his 25th major and 11th Australian Open title in Melbourne – the Australian Open starts on January 12.
