When asked who can hit the longest six in IPL 2025, Patidar confidently named the new recruits Tim David, Jitesh Sharmaand Liam Livingstone like its main competitors. Each of these players have shown remarkable batting skills for their respective franchises in past seasons, making them formidable assets for RCB. Patidar playfully challenged Dinesh Karthiknow part of RCB’s support staff, to organize a six-innings competition between these players. Surprisingly, Patidar did not name his legendary teammate Virat Kohli He has smashed 272 sixes in his IPL career so far.
“I feel one of Tim David, Liam Livingstone and Jitesh Sharma can hit the longest six this season. And DK bhai, if you are following, you can continue the six strokes. Let’s see who hits the longest sixes,Patidar said.

Balanced squad to succeed in IPL 2025
Looking ahead to IPL 2025, Patidar believed that RCB have assembled one of their best squads yet. With strategic retention decisions taken ahead of the mega auction, including retaining key players like himself, RCB aims to strike a balance in all departments – batting, bowling and fielding. His confidence also extends to the bowling department where he feels he is well equipped to handle various match situations.
“Personally, I feel that we have one of the best sides. We are balanced and cover all departments from top order, mid order and finisherIf you look at the bowling group, we’ve got everything covered and I didn’t feel like we were lacking anywhere.” Patidar concluded.
