A Breakout performance in Miami has led to a Top 100 debut for the 19-year-old Alexandra Eala of the Philippines.

Ealo Top 100
A trip to the semifinals to Miami gets southpaw Eala talented up to number 75 in Monday’s WTA rankings. This is a 65 -point increase in Eala, which had only won two WTA matches before its performance in Miami.
This new ranking must set it up to make the main draw in some of the biggest events in clay and of course in Roland-Garros, so we will see much more than the talented teenager in the coming weeks.

Eala is now the first player from the Philippines to ever hold a top 100 ranking.
Raducanu Top 50
A trip to Miami’s quarterfinals brings Ema Raducanu Up to 12 points and return to the first 50 places for the first time since August 2022.
The 22-year-old Brit won a pair of first 20 wins in Miami, one against Emma Navarro and the other against Amanda Animova while winning four consecutive games for the first time since she won the US Open title in 2021.
Kessler’s high career
The American McCartney Kessler won a pair of matches in Miami and thanks to this trip to the third round the 24-year-old is thrown into a high career ranking of no. 42. Former Florida Gator Kessler was ranked at No.120 when she played Miami qualification last year.
20-year-old American Ashlyn Kruueger, who reached the 16th round in Miami, also makes a high career at no. 34, with six points from number 40. She defeated Leylalah Fernandez and Elena Rybakina in Miami in another stellar performance.
Amanda Animova, who also reached the 16th round before falling in Raducanu in Miami, rises a place in a high career No. 16.
Australian
Daria Kasatkina has the Australian flag near her name for the first time in this week’s ranking. Entering No.12 it is the Australian of the highest rank.
Sabalenka expands the bullet
World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka increased the gap between herself and world No.2 IgA Swiatek while she claimed her eighth title 1000 in Miami, and the 19th in general.
Sabalenka, now entering its 32nd week in general at No.1, runs Swiathek with 3.071 points while the clay season begins.
