The non -controlled Floridians forced for the Southeast Conference colleges shared a larger link: Payne and Stoot had in common on the 57th anniversary of Easter Fila – both were close to not making the journey to the West.
But after their direct Sunday victories to capture the Golden Usta Balls in the Indian Wells, Payne and Stoot Garden could not be happier with their decision to play the prestigious little event that ended on Sunday.
“Feels surreal … feel crazy,” said Payne from Bradenton, Fla., After beat No. 9 Nadia Valdez seeds By San Antonio, Texas, 7-5, 6-3. “I definitely had no expectations to get here. It just feels amazing. I can’t even describe it.”
It was the second direct year that the upcoming Georgia Bulldog Payne included the draws after last year’s 16s Easter Bowl champion has now won 24 straight groups over 12 games and two gold balls in the singular becoming the first Bowl Bowl player since the Top -0 world player, Emma Navarro won the 16th and 18th titles.
Payne was shooting for a fourth Golden Ball of Easter winning 16 doubles last year but fell slightly less than her and she and she Emily Deming (Fallbrook, caliph.) Lost in Amy Lee and Kenzie Nguyen In the dual final of the 18th, 6-3, 6-4 girls.
Not only did Payne not throw a set in the singular for the second year right, she also retaliated with losses to three players who had beaten him only in last month in Valdez, ngyen and Kennedy Drenser-Gagmann.
Payne went down 1-4 early, but gathered to go 5-4 and get the first narrow set. “Finally I got some mistakes from her in four of all,” she said. “In the five-all I kept staying aggressive and continued to hit my nerves. I never calculate it. Sometimes I’m in the test when I’m nervous.”
Payne cannot believe the success she has had in her favorite place to play tennis. “After winter citizens I took a little mental rest because my emotions were all over the country,” she said. “At a certain point I was thinking of not playing here either.”
The same was true for Stoot, who said he decided to come to Indian wells just one day before his flight despite a sore shoulder and his father’s encouragement to say at home and rest him. Miami’s Stoot, who is heading to Louisiana State University, used his effective left -wing game to defeat the uneducated friend Tyler Lee From tustin, 6-4, 6-2. It was the first Usta national ball of any kind for stoot while Lee won its first ball for bachelors with silver.
“My service was working more, especially at rest points,” Stooot said. “Crazy is crazy to look back and think we’ve almost never come here.”

“It’S’S’S TYPE OF SHOP AND A WEIGHT FROM MY SUPPLEMENTS Because I really loved this.
In the first set I thought I was trying to do a lot, “Latak said.” I wanted to play some unrealistic points and unreal shots because this is final and that was unrealistic. So after I started losing a number of points, I thought I should only take one point at a time and I was able to slow down and do it. “
