While Chaudhary played the role of anchor, David was at his most ruthless. Their partnership frustrated the Adelaide Strikers batting as they added 75 runs which almost sealed the game for the Hobart Hurricanes and put the Adelaide Strikers bowlers under a lot of pressure.
During his innings, Chaudhary’s shot almost brought down leg umpire Sharad Patel. On the 5th ball of the 12th over, D Arcee Short punched one over the leg stump, which skidded to deep backward point. The judge who was there tried to get out of the way, but fell to the ground.
