Nicolas Olisagers Olympic Games and more

Nicolas Olisagers Olympic Games and more

Nicola McDermott (Ms. Oleysagers are always an interesting athlete. For the first time, I met him in 2017 in the World Cup in the Country Australia next year, when he bronze 1.90. After the institutions, he and his coach decided that his technique could not take him 2 meters. He boldly decided to change his technique, accepting that it would probably be sacrificed for a year. The new equipment took him to 2.03 PR and two Olympic silver medals, the world’s closed gold and world outdoor bronze.

During Covid-19, with the founded objects, Nicolas trained at the beach. It was a pretty big sand hole. He explained that his icy bath was the ocean, giving me one of the great quotes of all time.

Last year I caught him again and started asking him what the memorable Olympics is.

In a sense, the Olympic Games just compete against the same people. What makes it unique to you?

It’s a great question. The unique about the Olympic Games is that no matter where someone else’s age is in the world, everyone has this value to what it means for the Olympic Games. And you can have the best competition in your life two days before the Olympics, and no one in the world knows. But then, when it comes to the Olympic Games, there is this stage and platform, where people turn to the TV to see wonderful things and to be inspired. I really like about the Olympic Games.

Did you take it out to Tokyo the fact that you can make sure you can do it again in Paris?

I like to be under pressure, and I now have four years or three years with the Olympic Games, I can prepare such an attitude and mindset. I was sure that what I did in Tokyo had many faith in it, but my body’s way and my sports career were more consistent. So yes it gave me hope that Preparation-wise, we would be in the perfect place to go to Paris.

Explain how you use pressure and make it positive.

Pressure reveals what is really deep. It is as if the storm reveals the power of the foundation. So when I’m in the position, and the pressure builds, I learn what is inside of me. Things inside me are only my course. They are every part of me. Sometimes, without pressure, I never really knew what you needed until that moment.

Two meters are just 1 centimeter above 1.99, but what makes it unique. And do you remember that you did it for the first time? And how did you feel?

Yes absolutely. A bilateral sign in Australia and around the world is recognized as a criterion for excellence in the obstacles. High jump, you always know these numbers: 1.90 barrier, double-sided barrier, 2.10 barrier, and these large numbers are large and recognize it. So when I first did 2 meters, it was an Australian record, and as a little girl, I said one day I wanted to jump first in Australia 2 meters. We have 2 girls (Eleanor Patterson and Me) and I’m sure we’ll have it rather. But on that day, it was not just about jumping height. It opened almost a door. Yes. That barrier standing so many years. It was conquered. And since that height, I still remember. Something in me just went. This barrier can be limited to my potential, but when I did two meters, I realized that it was impossible for us to really bring life inside me. And now this continuous thing is to see a bar of more than 2 meters and realizes that if I could do it, I can do it now.

You often talk about something greater than just a high jumper and God’s purpose in your life. How does that motivate you?

When I decided to jump high when I was eight years old, I recognized the desire to make it a great stage, and gaining metals is purely self-esteem and will have a thought. Why am I 6 feet 2 inches? You know, why did I create the way I am?

I was up to 20 years old, I recognized that no medal, height or number next to my name would never give me the value that will keep me and will meet my soul. It was here that I met God’s love, for when Jesus came to me and found me up, I realized that the value and the love and attention from the world found everyone in him. But I had to stop trying to earn it because it was the gift of grace. This is given, it does not earn, it turned out. It has already been done. I just have to believe. My journey was then much more significant than about sports. I feel the high jump is God’s hand tool to make me a person to push me into the person he has already predetermined. It is also an opportunity for others who I see are still in sports, trying and I can never give the world.

With each jump, step by step, I realize that I am closer to the audience that can see God’s work inside me. That excellence, which has been made of love and peace, not only the place of peace, can not only inspire them, but also to change their lives.
