American football and European football can differ greatly in global rules, culture and perception, but they share an amazing number of similarities. Both are ball sports, both have massive world followers, and they both have a deep connection with fashion and off the field.
Now, these two worlds will collide again with the help of Nike.
According to the filtered pictures shared by insider slippers Romeo axNike and the National Football League (NFL) come together with various European football clubs to create special American football style t -shirts.
The filtered designs include T-shirts for Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Atlético Madrid, all with white bases, oversized numbers on the front and rear, old V necklaces with the NFL logo and club ridges placed on the sleeves.
Holder Revealing the collaboration is part of the accumulation of the FIFA World Cup 2026, which starts on June 11, 2026 in all the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The collection is expected to fall soon, although it is not yet clear if there will be additional clubs.
This is not the first time Nike has crossed these sporting currents. In 2018, the brand launched a similar range inspired by American football for Chelsea, PSG, Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur, although these t-shirts did not have the official NFL brand.
Interestingly, the Tottenham, whose stadium is now served as a de facto house of the London Games of the NFL, has not appeared in the current round of filtered designs.
But with a European trophy that is now proudly adding their cabinet, Spurs fans will probably not lose any sleep for fashion collaborations.
