On Valentine’s Day in the Theater in Madison Square Garden, Keyshawn Davis (13-0, 9 KO, 1 AD) earned a gift he worked for his entire life: World Championships Gold. Amateur and professional box are different animals, but beating someone four times strikes someone four times. Davis against Cruz could be a fight for a few years from the road after Cruz settles in the pro ranks.
Davis practices with Brian “Bomac” McIntyre, who also trains Terence Crawford and Shakur Stevenson, among others. Keyshawn earns the expectations that many observers have had for his career.
