Newcastle United Legend Alan Shearer joked that Dan Burn could retire after his goal in the victory over Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final.
Burn opened the score for the Magpies in a famous 2-1 victory over the Reds in Wembley last weekend, delivering the club his first piece of silver in 70 years.
Even Shearer, one of Newcastle’s best players, never managed to raise a trophy with the North Club -East.
