Newcastle were involved in last season’s Champions League, but the Magpies have taken a small step back in recent months.

More players are expected to arrive in 2025 to help Howe’s side take another step forward, but the Premier League’s improved training facilities could also play a part in progressing towards the top four first in the English top division.

Newcastle’s current training ground is not of the standard of Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City, something the PIF wants to change.
